ABOUT ME
I have several books published on Amazon Kindle, including a science fiction series titled The Accidental Heroes Chronicles, a romance titled A Weight Relieved, and a children’s series titled Gerald the Chicken. I have also published a queer, paranormal fantasy story titled Underneath. The short story, The Smile Maidens, has been published in Women of the Wild: An Anthology. Also, as of May 2020, the title Shadows and a Touch of Magic is available through Corvus Quill Press. All of these are under the pen name S. E. Cyborski.
I draw inspiration from a variety of places and things. One of my best short stories was inspired by a nightmare I had. I love space, nature, and whimsical things in general. One of the reasons I wrote Shadows and a Touch of Magic featuring queer women is because I am a bisexual woman and I wanted there to be more stories featuring characters like me.
When reading, I gravitate towards fantasy and science fiction. The Lord of the Rings still has a space in my heart and always will. Some of my favorite authors include Mercedes Lackey, Jim Butcher, Neil Gaiman, and J. D. Robb.
I'm a self-professed fangirl. I love movies, tv, and books and talking with people who are interested in the same universes. I recently got into watching Critical Role after some friends convinced me to try out DnD for myself. And, because I throw myself headlong into things I fall in love with, I have a handful of characters I rotate among playing. (pssst, go warlocks and clerics)
